should white GSDs only breed with other white german shepherd dogs?
i'm not a breeder and i don't plan on it. i'm just curious. should they not breed with say solid black GSDs or other colors?
and what's all this i hear about white GMDs being a disqualification? what does this mean?
hmmm, it seems that whiet GSDs are only a disqualification not for health concerns but controversy which ACTUALLY makes me want to think about breeding them being that they are rare and i don;t see why you should let a white shepherd breed not be bred simply because of a disqualification due to controversy over it's color.
i think i want to breed white german shepherds now not only because i love the breed but to piss people off 
The whites being a disqualification means nothing except that you cannot show white GSDs in AKC conformation because it is an extreme fault according to the AKC standard. Although you can show whites in any other AKC competition. You can also show whites in other club's conformation shows such as UKC.
Color has nothing to do with why dogs should not be bred to each other. If they pass all of their health test and all the other things that you need to make sure of before they are bred (not going to list them), then it would be fine for a white to breed to a black. If the black carries for white you can get white pups. If the white carries for black you can get black pups. The other pups' colors depend on what the white "masks". My friend that breeds GSD bred her white male to a black female. Neither carried for each other's color. The pups were either black & tan or black & silver. It all depends what the dogs carry for and sometimes you don't know for sure what they carry for.
ADD: You definitely picked up on the controversy part! It's all politics. Please remember though, a good breeder breeds to better the breed, not to piss people off 
Make sure you do your research! For a breeder, research is never over. Here is a site I think you would like to look at. Eclipse kennels has one of the top lines of white German Shepherds in the U.S.

Temperament, there is nothing wrong with them as a pet, and you meet one that should not be reluctant to take on the basis of coat color alone. Do not be fooled for any tricks for shade farmers indicating that they are valuable and rare however. Most consider it a mistake, not pay much money for a WGSD.
