Zoologist Job Description Q&A
Can somebody answer these questions about zoologist?!?
-What is the average salary?
-What degrees needed to become one?
-Where can you get jobs at?
-What do they do on the daily basis?
-What is the job description?
1. The salary depends on where you work..but they are paid quit poorly, the average makes about 24,000 US dollars per year.
2.Once again it depends on where you work...if you work at a zoo, most of them want you to aleast have a bachelor's degree which is four years of collage. If you work for a private company like for the state or government some places might not require any collage education but some might require a masters degree, which is 10 years of collage....usually the better the degree the more money you make.
3.You can work for a zoo,a wildlife sacurary, for the state or government, you can start your own zoologist sacuary.
4. On a daily bases they would go into work, take care of the animals, clean the enclosures, feed the animals, talk to the visitors about the animal...then if the boss askes they will do other thing.
5.The job description verys on where you work but most places the description is the stuff in answer number 4.
Hope that helps....but you also have to very good at algerbra to because you are going to need to know how to make the right king of proportions for the animals diet depending on their weight and health.
